A named endowment may be created and designated to a specific program with a gift or pledge of $10,000 or more. When your endowment is fully funded, only a percentage of the interest earned on the fund will be spent each year, leaving the principal to remain intact in perpetuity.
Please call 484-526-3067 to connect with someone in our Development Office to learn how you can create a permanent legacy through a named endowment.

There are many benefits to donating long term appreciated stock which has been held for more than 12 months.
- You can claim a charitable deduction for the fair market value of long-term appreciated stock (up to 30 percent of your adjusted gross income).
- You avoid capital gains that you would otherwise pay if you sold the stock.
- You can make a larger gift than if you sold the securities and donated the net proceeds.
- It may help to lower federal income tax for the current tax year.
Please call or email the Development Office at 484-526-3067 or DevelopmentOffice@sluhn.org to obtain simple and easy stock transfer instructions.
